Welcome to PPAChicago!

The Promotional Professionals Association of Chicago, Inc. (PPAChicago) is a not-for-profit trade association comprised of promotional product industry professionals and is run by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Founded in 1957 to serve the growing needs of local promotional product companies, PPAChicago has expanded to represent nearly 500 distributor and supplier companies.  The association has grown in both strength and stature, gaining recognition as not only a local but industry leader in our members’ professional growth and success.

Each benefit we offer strives to fulfill our mission and promise to our members.

Education provides our members the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) that are administered by PPAI.  Becoming a Certified Advertising Specialist (CAS) or a Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) is a distinction that few in the industry have achieved.  Individuals with MAS/CAS Certification are seen as industry leaders—those who have attained a higher standard of professionalism, knowledge and experience.  MAS/CAS certification is acquired through a combination of: active employment in the industry, education, industry contributions and the successful demonstration of expertise.  Certification is maintained through continuing education to ensure current knowledge and leading-edge professional skills.

Monthly, the e-newsletter is sent to over 1,500 email addresses including Suppliers, Distributors, and Multi Line Representatives and includes information about PPAChicago events, members, industry related articles and news.  Press releases about your business are welcome and can be emailed to staff@ppachicago.org

What is RAC?

The Regional Association Council (RAC) exists to foster cooperation and positive relationships among the regional and national not-for-profit trade associations engaged in the promotional products industry; provide a governance and administrative structure for the participating regional associations; coordinate planning and support for meetings, cooperative projects and services; and to develop and implement strategic programs and services that meet the common interests and needs of the industry.

Any regional association whose members conduct business in the promotional products industry is qualified for membership in RAC.  Each member shall appoint a person to be its RAC delegate, and this person shall represent, vote and act for the member in all RAC affairs.  There are 27 regional associations in the promotional products industry, all of which belong to RAC.

RAC members are organized into five districts, as approved by the delegate assembly. Each member’s delegate shall form the membership of the district governing body.  From those bodies, two delegates will be selected to serve on the RAC Board of Directors.
